90. This Contractor
shall furnish for the use with the counterweight system one (1) approved heavy
duty portable electric winch. This unit
shall be a steel truck mounted on caters, which shall have a ball bearing
reducing unit and not less than a one and one quarter (1-1/4 H.P.) horsepower
motor; to the slow speed shaft of the reducer there shall be a nigger head. There shall be an outrigger with sheave on the
truck so that the hoist can be placed under locking rail to overhaul
counterweight frames. A suitable
operating switch shall be mounted on the handles of the truck and have fifty
(50'-0") feet of flexible cord and plug connector. The motor shall be adapted for the available
electric power current. The furnishing
and installation of the pocket outlets and the wiring to them shall be done by
OTHERS.
